This post was a little over 9K on Monday.

If you claim to be into Anime, you should watch this film. Its comes from an earlier time in the history of anime. Japanese animation used to be very raw. Most of its popularity in America was pure shock factor. At the time, no American animation came close. This level of rad is still seldom reached. The detail. The realness. It’s just fantastic. And some of those films (ninja scroll, wrath of the ninja, Akira etc.) stood the test of time. I understand that, the weird white dude with the silk wolverine button up and I, aren’t the only ones who watch anime anymore. But it would be nice, if things that deserve respect, got respect. In other words, posting this screencap will not make you cool. You seeking and reseaching the things you truly enjoy, will. Be ea5y bows respectfully*

Kids break into radio station, swear at listeners

A group of children broke into a radio station in Western Australia’s remote Kimberley region and put themselves live on air for an impromptu late-night show full of swearing.

The first police knew of it was a phone call from a listener, concerned at swear words being broadcast.

Station manager Angie Stahl says she had previously given the children lessons in community radio, and they worked out how to make the studio go live.

“But unfortunately their show mainly involved swearing, which was a bit punk, a bit avant-garde, but also breaches the broadcasting laws, and our codes of practice.

“So the cops got a call from an outlaying station ringing up to say, ‘I think you’ve got some kids on the radio, they’re busy swearing, you’d better go bust them’.”

Ms Stahl said the children appear to have entered through a window in her house, which adjoins the studios.

While in the house they ate some chicken nuggets and dyed their hair.

Not long after going on-air with their expletive-ridden jokes, police officers arrived to put a stop to the radio broadcast.

Ms Stahl said the children may have a future in broadcasting.

“They’d come in a couple of times before to do a couple of shows and programs, so I’d taught them the basics,” she said.

“So it’s good to see the knowledge was used correctly.”

“A bit punk”

Amazing.

Okay now that I’ve finally quit Denny’s let me tell you guys about the bizarre fucking otherworld it is

  • The music and the room temperature are controlled by corporate. Corporate plays a lot of pop covers of Disney princess songs I’ve never heard before. I now have a dance routine to the K-Pop sounding version of Let it Go.
  • Our sign flickered fast and red and demonically for a week and the repairman said he couldn’t find anything wrong with it.
  • People did drug deals in, like, broad daylight in the middle of the parking lot multiple times a week.
  • It’s open 24/7. We had a backup generator none of us knew about until there was a massive storm one night and we looked out to see a tree knocked over and our lights the only thing on for miles. You could weather the apocalypse with no idea the apocalypse was even happening.
  • Regular customers included:
    • A man convinced the chemtrails are real who gave me six separate pieces of literature on the subject
    • A little person named Kevin who told me “sometimes I call myself a dwarf when I’m feeling whimsical”
    • An actual group of Neo-Nazis
    • An actual Earth, Wind, and Fire cover band (they played for us)
    • Twins who came in separately on the same day and I thought they were one woman changing outfits rapidly for the longest time
    • A Scottish landscaper who told us we “couldn’t prove he doesn’t know Simon Pegg”
  • I have more these are just off the top of my head

I can’t believe I forgot

  • two line cooks got into a really heated argument about whether Vin Diesel is bisexual or not
  • I asked an elderly man if he wanted to use the AARP discount and he said “No, I’m not a socialist”.

today there was a “flash mob” set up by the seniors because it was their second to last day so they blasted the macarena over the loud speaker and did the dance in the main lobby but our headmaster knew about it so it wasn’t even funny but whilst walking past the elevator i found out why they really did this so called “flash mob”

it was a distraction

they put chickens in the elevator

This was wild because I forgot your high schoolers are called seniors and I thought you were talking about old folks
